Household Running Costs
Living costs in the TRNC are much cheaper than the UK and most of Europe which in addition to the mild Mediterranean climate pose a significant factor when choosing this country as the ideal place for holiday and investment.
The following are based on average household running costs:
Electricity - £0,04 / kw,
Water - £2 / first 20 tonnes,
Gas - £3 / gas canister, which usually lasts 2/3 months,
Community charges - (security, waste collection, pavement and road cleaning etc) - £30 / month
